         Dr. James P. Wilton FAENS, FACFAS is a Board Certified surgeon who received his medical degree from The Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine and post graduate residency training in foot and ankle surgery at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown Pa. under the guidance of Dr. James V. Ganley. 

          Dr. Wilton has over 30 years of clinical experience specializing in diagnosing and treating patients with complex chronic pain conditions in the lower extremities in patients that have not responded to conventional medical care. His specialty focus area of interest is in the diagnosis and conservative and surgical treatment of lower extremity peripheral nerve problems.

          After completing a foot and ankle surgical residency, Dr. Wilton attained further subspecialty training in peripheral nerve surgery under A. Lee Dellon MD at The Institute of Peripheral Nerve Surgery in Baltimore Maryland. He is the director of the Basic Peripheral Nerve Surgery Course for the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons (2010-present) and Advanced Peripheral Nerve Surgery Course (2010-2016).

          Dr. Wilton created and currently leads a United States team of hand and lower extremity peripheral nerve surgeons that have performed 17 volunteer surgical missions performing peripheral nerve and orthopedic surgery on both Hansen (Leprosy) patients and children in Guayaquil Ecuador, South America.
